Join a number of Auburn’s historical sites for a virtual camp experience! The Cayuga Museum, Harriet Tubman National Historical Park, Seward House Museum, and Seymour Library are teaming up to bring history to life for children approximately ages 8-10. Campers will be provided kits with a week’s worth of activities and supplies, all of which will be used through the online guidance of site staff.

*Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the Museum is closed to the public and all tours and events have been cancelled or moved to a virtual platform. The virtual garden tour will be posted on the SHM Facebook on 5/28 at noon. We apologize for the inconvenience.*  

Due to a large pre-scheduled group, the SHM will not have a tour run during this time. The first public tour of the day will begin at 11:00 am. We apologize for the inconvenience. 

Join us for a Harvest Moon First Friday Event! We will be featuring art by Anne Lahr in our gift shop, and the talents of Steven Cali's modern/outlaw country music in our gardens. We encourage you to bring your own lawn chairs, and refreshments will be provided. Also on display will be a new bust of William Seward sculpted by Dexter Benedict.

Join us for a First Friday reception! This First Friday will feature works by AADUNA who will present ‘A “19” Maskerade’ with Dick Ford playing piano and bill berry sharing his narrative poetry and reflections on his life. While AADUNA is performing on our South Porch, we will be having the art of Donna Nicholas displayed in our gift shop. With the health and safety of our visitors and staff being our top priority, we have chosen to make some changes to this First Friday event.
