Seward House Museum Group Guidelines:
Group Tour Guidelines and Parking Directions
- The Seward House Museum is open March – December, Tuesday – Saturday, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm for tours.
Additional charges apply for tours occurring on Sundays & Mondays, or after 5:00 pm. - Groups of 10 visitors or more should make a reservation, by email or over the phone, 2 weeks in advance — all other groups are welcome with no reservation required!
- A confirmation document will be sent to the provided email to finalize your group reservation.
- A typical group tour will last about 1.25 hours. Large groups may require an extended length of time.
- The Seward House can accommodate up to 60 visitors at one time. Larger groups are encouraged to schedule, but they will need to be split into subgroups.
- Group visitor count must be finalized a week in advance. An invoice will be emailed at this point and must be paid in full, regardless of the visitor count that physically arrives.
- Groups arriving 10 - 15 minutes late may have a shortened tour experience.

- For booking tours during times when the museum is closed to the public, an additional $250.00 surcharge will be applied to the overall fee.

Bus/Large Vehicle Parking:
If arriving by bus or large vehicle, please direct the driver to drop off at 1 Lincoln Street at the entrance of the Equal Rights Heritage Center. Reserved parking is available for buses on Lincoln Street in front of the Equal Rights Heritage Center. Lincoln Street is one-way, so buses must enter from William Street. Full directions will be provided in the confirmation document. Bus drivers are welcome to attend group tours for free.
