Parking
Because there is no accessible parking on site, the Seward House Museum reccomends that visitors use the Auburn Parking Garage at 1 Lincoln Street. On weekdays the garage offers free 2-hour parking, $3 per hour after that, up to 5 hours. Visitors parking in the garage must use the Pango Mobile Parking App on your smart phone.
The parking garage is free during nights and weekends. Additional parking can be found on Grover Street and William Street.
Accessible entrances to the property include the Equal Rights Heritage Center and South Street gates.

The Seward House Museum is accessible via the Equal Rights Heritage Center at 1 Lincoln Street. Restrooms, amenities, and travel info are available at the Equal Rights Heritage Center.

From the New York State Thruway
Auburn is located 8 miles south of the village of Weedsport, Exit 40 off the New York State Thruway, Interstate 90, approximately 25 miles west of Syracuse, and 50 miles east of Rochester.
Take Route 34 south until you enter the city limits of Auburn. Route 34 becomes North Street until it crosses Genesee Street, at which it changes to South Street. After the next traffic light heading south, with City Hall to the left, the Seward House is located immediately on the right. If arriving by bus, please direct the driver to drop off at 1 Lincoln Street at the entrance of the Equal Rights Heritage Center. Reserved parking is available for buses on Lincoln Street in front of the Equal Rights Heritage Center.
