Visit The Seward House Museum

General Info

  • A guided tour is the only way to see the Museum. Tours begin at the top of the hour.
  • Tour availability is subject to change. Sometimes we reach capacity due to large pre-scheduled groups.
  • Advance reservations are available. Visitors without pre-booked tickets will be admitted as capacity allows.

  • The Museum is a Blue Star Museum, offering free admission to active-duty military and their families. This program runs from Armed Forces Day through Labor Day.

Hours

  • Museum hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-5pm with tours running on the hour.
  • The Museum is also open on Sundays from 1pm-5pm June through September.
  • The Museum is closed January through February.

 

Parking

    • There is no on-site parking at the Museum. Primary parking for the Museum is available at the Lincoln Street Parking Garage and additional parking can be found on Grover Street and William Street.
    • Accessible entrances to the property include the gates at the Equal Rights Heritage Center and the 33 South Street sidewalk at the front of the house.
