Enjoy an art exhibit by Arthur Hutchinson, readings and live music from "aaduna," complimentary refreshments, and rooms in the Museum open for viewing.
Musical performances include "The danceable, finger snapping, foot stamping music" of Berny Williford. Poetry readings feature Sarah Wyman and Doug Curry.

Sarah Wyman, PhD, teaches and writes on 20th and 21st century Comparative Literature with a focus on poetry, literary theory, sustainability, and the visual at SUNY New Paltz. She is a Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) coordinator and a co-coordinator of the college’s Sustainability Faculty Learning Community. She also teaches poetry reading and writing workshops at Shawangunk prison. Sarah’s poetry has appeared in aaduna, Mudfish, Ekphrasis, San Pedro River Review, Potomac Review, Lightwood, Heron Clan VII, A Slant of Light: Contemporary Women Poets of the Hudson Valley, and other journals. She is author of two books, Sighted Stones (FLP 2018) and Fried Goldfinch (Codhill 2021) and is the co-editor of the forthcoming Sustainability Education and Action for Learning and Community Engagement (Palgrave/Springer 2024). Dr. Wyman resides in the Hudson Valley, NY.
Doug Curry, who in 2024 continues to be a Master urban poet springing forth from the griot tradition and Blues broadcaster. Mr. Curry is an elder statesman who remains entrenched in the vitality and spirit of the Blues, as well as the nuances, ambiance, and culture of that uniquely American musical genre. He describes himself as a writer “of various types…a lifelong learner, who started writing poetry in 2008. Since then, he has published several pieces online. A regular contributor at centerstagemag.com and at www.takingthejourney.com,” Curry has served as a contributing editor for Rochester’s City newspaper, from 1990-2000, About…Time magazine from 1990 – 2002, and was feature writer/reviewer for Blues Connection out of Syracuse, NY from 1990 – 1997. Doug has contributed regularly to online poetry sites and magazines, i.e., www.allpoetry.com, writerscafe.org, and other sites, and was a featured reader at the 2017 and 2018 aaduna fundraisers. Doug lives in Rochester where he continues to write, broadcasts a Blues radio program, and performs in theatrical productions.
