Lafayette's Bicentennial Tour

Join the Seward House Museum in commemorating the 200th anniversary of Revolutionary War General Marquis de Lafayette’s grand farewell tour of the United States, which included a stop in Auburn and a visit with our very own William Henry Seward! The Auburn Civic Band will play Revolutionary War music in the Museum’s gardens from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by pageantry and performances from the American Friends of Lafayette until 4:30 PM. Then, the Museum will have an open house for all in attendance to enjoy from 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM. This event is FREE and open to the public!
