First Friday Community Event

Sep 7th 2018 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Join us for the First Friday Community Event, where visitors will be welcomed into the Museum to view the Dining and Drawing Rooms, with docents on hand to answer questions and interpret the spaces. Complimentary refreshments will be provided.

Performing on the garden stage will be Salvatore Lee.  Salvatore Lee is a 23-year old musician and singer/songwriter from Auburn NY. Formally known as Salvatore Montgomery, he has been playing and writing music, as well as performing locally for several years. Performing both originals and covers, his style is both diverse and unique, drawing from an array of influences in rock, hip-hop, reggae, and more. He has recently released his first studio album, entitled “Staring At the Sun”.

In our gallery space, we will have the artwork of Samantha French, who is a local, self-taught artist.  Her work is inspired by fractals and geometry in nature, music, and meditation.  Using acrylic paints, pencil, marker, wood (burning), and watercolors she attempts to capture the peace and beauty in repeating patterns found in nature, and within.

This event is free and open to the public.
