Erik's Story: An Intimate Evening of Storytelling

Apr 16th 2026 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM

Join us in the Museum's Drawing Room for a book talk with Erik and Sheila Osborne.

In this intimate gathering held in the SHM Drawing Room, Erik and Sheila Osborne will read selected passages from Erik's Story: Life in a Changing World. His memoir reflects on a remarkable century lived—from his years at Harvard, to a career in local media, to thoughtful observations on the many changes that shaped Auburn and the wider world. Adding to the experience, guests will have a rare opportunity to view artwork and objects from the Osborne family collection—on public display for the first time. After the readings, enjoy a champagne toast and light hors d'oeuvres.

Space is limited for this intimate event, so registration is required. Tickets may be purchased by calling the museum at (315) 252-1283 or online here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/eriks-story-an-intimate-evening-of-storytel...

Please note that our online ticketing platform, Eventbrite, charges a small fee. To avoid paying this fee, please purchase tickets over the phone or in person.
