If I were to go round the world again, or to make an extended journey anywhere on its surface, I should always prefer to visit localities that would be new to me, rather than follow routes I had traveled before.

American Rococo table
c. 1860
American Rococo carved gesso and giltwood, marble-topped table. The cabriole legs are designed with medallions and flower. The white marble top has a turtle shaped. This table was prossibly reduced in height at one point.
