If I were to go round the world again, or to make an extended journey anywhere on its surface, I should always prefer to visit localities that would be new to me, rather than follow routes I had traveled before.

American Federal mahogany tall case clock. Made by D. Porter, Williamstown, Mass. Scroll cresting, painted face with phases of the moon. Door and skirt have light wood inlay.
Judge Miller's clock - his wife came from Williamstown.
